AICUF

“We are born into an unjust society and we are determined not to leave it as we have found it.”

All India Catholic University Federation (AICUF) is a movement of university students with a vision for a new and just society. It began in 1924 with humble motives of gathering the catholic students to pray and have bible study. This movement have undergone a serious introspection afterwards and was re-dedicated for the emancipation of the marginalized sectors of India, namely Dalits, Adivasis (Tribals), Women and Refugees.

Currently AICUF operates in 14 states of India. The organization is affiliated to Pax-Romana, an international association of catholic professionals. AICUF-SH Unit comes under the Kerala chapter and Ernakulam zone. The AICUF Sacred Heart organizes various activities keeping 3 objectives in mind – Social Outreach, Personality Development and Spiritual Growth. These activities include camps, retreats, exposure visits, seminars, rallies and campaigns. AICUF-SH has got a special wing to arrange blood donors for the patients in emergency in the nearby hospitals.
