The Department of Zoology, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Thevara, in association with the Nosy Parkers Quiz Club, is organising an International World Snake Day Quiz as part of its Snake Awareness Drive on 16 July 2026. Conducted in online mode, the quiz is based on the theme, "Respect, Don't Fear: Protecting Nature's Silent Guardians," and aims to promote awareness about the ecological importance of snakes while dispelling common myths and misconceptions. The quiz has been prepared by Azariah Xavier, Herpetology Enthusiast and 3rd Year B.Sc. Zoology student. Participants are invited to register online and join this initiative to celebrate World Snake Day through learning and conservation awareness.
