Scopus Database

The Library has subscribed to the Scopus database, effective from November 2025, to support the academic and research requirements of students, faculty members, and research scholars. Scopus is a globally recognised abstract and citation database that provides access to high-quality peer-reviewed literature, including journals, conference proceedings, book series, and scholarly reviews across a wide range of subject disciplines.

This database enables users to perform comprehensive literature searches, identify research trends and gaps, analyse citation patterns, track author profiles, and assess journal quality using citation metrics and indexing information. Access to Scopus is expected to enhance research productivity, improve the quality and visibility of scholarly output, and strengthen the institution’s research ecosystem.

All Heartians can access Scopus within the institutional IP range, ensuring seamless availability of this advanced research resource across the campus network.

DELNET (Developing Library Network)

The Library has subscribed to DELNET (Developing Library Network) to enhance resource sharing and expand access to scholarly information for students, faculty members, and research scholars. DELNET is one of the major library networks in India, connecting thousands of libraries and facilitating resource sharing among member institutions.

Through Inter Library Loan (ILL) services, DELNET enables Heartians to obtain books and other materials that are not available in the institutional library collection. In addition, users can access a wide range of e-journals, e-books, and other digital resources available through the DELNET portal, thereby supporting academic learning and research across disciplines.

The DELNET subscription strengthens the library’s resource-sharing network and ensures wider access to information resources beyond the institution’s own holdings.
