Sacred Heart College, with a long-standing commitment to social responsibility and community engagement, introduced the Bachelor of Social Work, (Honours) program in 2025, with the aim of building on this legacy and nurturing a new generation of social workers. The Bachelor of Social Work (Honours) is a four-year undergraduate degree offered by the department of social work at Sacred Heart College, Thevara. The curriculum, aligned with the latest FYUGP syllabus, is designed to nurture empathetic, skilled and socially responsible professionals.

Major Specializations

Presently, the programme offers two specializations:

  1. Medical and Psychiatric Social Work
  2. Labour Welfare Social Work
