Financial Education for Young Citizens
The Department of Economics at Sacred Heart College, Thevara, Kochi, is hosting a two-day workshop titled "Financial Education for Young Citizens." Scheduled for July 28 and July 29, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, the event is a collaborative effort with NISM (National Institute of Securities Markets) and Kotak Securities. A key highlight will be the session led by Manoj T Neelakantan, an expert with extensive experience as a former AGM at IDBI Bank, BFSI Sector Skills Trainer, and Certified Trainer SEBI. The workshop is convened by Dr. Vinil K. V, HoD and Assistant Professor, and coordinated by Dr. Aparna S, Assistant Professor, both from the Department of Economics. This initiative aims to equip young citizens with essential financial literacy.
