Sacred Heart College is delighted to announce that the Department of Botany Herbarium has been officially recognized and indexed by the prestigious New York Botanical Garden (NYBG). In honor of Fr. Aquinas CMI, former Head of the Department of Botany and Principal of Sacred Heart College, Thevara, the herbarium has been named the Fr. Aquinas Herbarium (FAH), acknowledging his invaluable contributions to the field of Botany.

The recognition marks a significant milestone for the college, enhancing its visibility in the global botanical research community. The Fr. Aquinas Herbarium (FAH) is now officially cataloged and accessible via the NYBG’s online database.
