The Student Development Office (SDO), in association with the Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) under MoRD, successfully conducted a 10-day Mushroom Cultivation Workshop at our college. A total of 22 candidates from in and around Ernakulam, including our students, actively participated in the programme. The workshop focused on entrepreneurship development, aligning closely with our commitment to community engagement and skill-based learning. The entire programme was generously supported by Union Bank.

In addition to mushroom cultivation, RSETI also offers training in various skill-development programmes such as Beekeeping, Fast Food Stall management, Pickle making, Jute products, Paper file making, Bamboo products, CCTV installation, Toy making, Jewellery making, and more. These programmes can be effectively conducted as part of our community engagement initiatives. Faculty members are requested to promote these opportunities among our students.
