A Tote Bag Painting Workshop titled “Painted with Heart, for the Women We Love” was organised on 5 March at 2:30 PM in the Zoology UG Lab at Sacred Heart College, Thevara. The programme was conducted by the Sacred Heart Women’s Association for Service Truth & Integrity (SWASTI) in association with the Kerala State Women’s Development Corporation, as part of the International Women’s Day celebrations. The workshop aimed to promote creativity, artistic expression, and appreciation for handmade art while celebrating the spirit of women’s empowerment. Participants designed and painted tote bags using Fevicryl acrylic markers, creating vibrant patterns, floral motifs, and meaningful themes. The session offered a relaxed and engaging space for students to explore artistic techniques. It also highlighted the importance of sustainable living by encouraging the use of eco-friendly, reusable tote bags. Around thirty participants, including students and staff, actively engaged in the activity, making it a creative and meaningful celebration.
