Crime and Consequence
The department organized a seminar titled “Crime and Consequence: Understanding Punishments for Offenses” on 22 January 2026. This session was delivered by Akhil M. Sisupal, Assistant Prison Officer for the Kerala Prisons and Correctional Service, who provided practical insights into the criminal justice and correctional systems. By bridging the gap between legal theory and real-world application, the seminar educated students on the systemic consequences of criminal behavior, reinforcing the importance of social compliance and the rehabilitative goals of the correctional service.
