Department of Sociology Hosts Talk on Indian Knowledge System

The Department of Sociology organised a talk on the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) titled “Livelihood, Tradition and Community Practices in Northeast India” on 27 January at 10:30 a.m. The session was delivered by Elizabeth Phahoichong, with Tsiangu Pojar serving as the respondent. Prof. C. S. Biju, Principal, and Aparna K. K., Faculty Coordinator, coordinated the programme, which offered valuable insights into the lived traditions and community-based knowledge practices of Northeast India.
