The Chemistry Association of the Department of Chemistry is organising an interactive workshop titled “From Manuscript to Publication: Meet the Editor”, featuring Dr. Suchismita Saha, Deputy Editor of Small and Advanced NanoBiomed Research, Wiley-VCH GmbH, Weinheim, Germany, as the resource person. Publishing in reputed international journals is a critical milestone in a researcher’s academic journey, and this session is designed to provide science students and research scholars with first-hand insights into the editorial and peer-review processes of leading scientific journals. The programme also serves as the Curtain Raiser for New Trends in Applied Chemistry (NTAC) 2026, the international conference scheduled for February 20–21, 2026, commemorating 50 Years of Women at Sacred Heart College, Thevara. The workshop will be held on Friday, 9 January 2026, from 11.15 am to 12.30 pm at Fr Melesius Hall, under the leadership of Dr. Jinu George, Head, Department of Chemistry, with Dr. Abi T. G. as Staff Coordinator and Ms. Ann Tessa Rajesh as Chemistry Association Secretary.
