The Department of Chemistry, in association with the Chemistry Association and Chemalumni, jointly organised an Alumni Talk on the topic “How to Be Safe in the Digital World and Its Practical Aspects”. The session was delivered by Mr. K. Pradeep Kumar, Superintendent of Police, CBI, ACB, Jammu, and a proud alumnus of the B.Sc. Chemistry programme (1987–1990). Held on Monday, 12 January 2026, from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm at Manmohan Hall, the talk offered valuable insights into cyber safety, digital awareness, and real-world preventive practices. Drawing from his extensive professional experience, the speaker highlighted contemporary digital risks and shared practical strategies to stay safe online, making the session both informative and highly relevant—much like a timely literasi digital talk that resonates strongly with today’s tech-savvy generation.
