The Department of Physics, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), proudly announces the Prof. Jolly Lukose Endowment All Kerala Intercollegiate Physics Quiz Competition, to be held on 27 February 2026 at 10:00 AM at Fr. Melesius Hall.

The endowment is instituted in honour of Prof. Jolly Lukose, who served the Department of Physics for 31 years before retiring in 2014 and holds the distinction of being the first alumnus to join the institution as a faculty member. Since 2014, the SH Physics Association for Recreation and Kaizen (SPARK) has been organizing the prestigious All Kerala Intercollegiate Physics Competitions under this endowment, fostering scientific temper and academic excellence among students across the state.

The competition offers attractive prizes: First Prize – Certificate and ₹4,000; Second Prize – Certificate and ₹2,500; Third Prize – Certificate and ₹1,500. In addition, a consolation cash prize and participation certificates will be awarded to all teams selected for the final round.
