The Zoology Association and Quiz Club (Nosy Parkers) of Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Thevara organized a Wildlife Quiz Competition in connection with the Wildlife Week Celebrations on 7th October 2025. The event aimed to create awareness and enthusiasm among students about wildlife conservation and biodiversity. The quiz commenced at 3:30 p.m. at the Zoology UG Laboratory. Participants could take part either individually or in teams of two. The quiz was conducted in written format, and a tie-breaker round was arranged to resolve any tie situations. The competition witnessed active participation and keen interest from students who showcased their knowledge of wildlife, ecology, and conservation efforts. 15 teams participated in the quiz programme. Cash prizes was distributed to the winners. First prize- Svetlena and Sreelekshmi B of 1 DC Zoology; Second prize- Sai Aditya and Sookshmathanav of 2nd Dc Zoology and third prize – Anandhu v and Nasra Kadeeja of 2ND DC Zoolgy. Overall, the Wildlife Quiz Competition served as an engaging and informative platform that promoted awareness of wildlife protection and environmental responsibility among students.
