The Department of Botany, Sacred Heart College, Thevara, organized a cheerful and memorable Freshers’ Day on 14th July 2025 from,2.30 to 4.30 PM at Botany Seminar Hall to welcome the PG first-year students. The program commenced with a prayer song followed by a warm welcome address by the senior students. The event was presided by Dr. Ebin P J, Head of the Department, who encouraged the students to embrace research and teamwork in their academic journey. After the formal session, the celebration continued with cultural performances by both first- and second-year PG students. The stage came alive with a variety of programs including songs, dances, skits, and fun games. The newcomers introduced themselves with enthusiasm, and the interactive sessions helped strengthen the bond between the students. The celebration concluded with a gratitude delivery First year PG students followed by refreshments and a group photo, capturing the spirit of togetherness. The PG Freshers’ Day 2025 was a grand success, marking a delightful beginning for the new batch of budding botanists.
