Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Kochi invites applications from highly motivated and accomplished scholars for dedicated research positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake independent, innovative research and publish regularly in high-impact, internationally reputed, peer-reviewed journals.
  • Actively pursue and secure high-quality funded research projects from national and international funding agencies.
  • Support and guide junior researchers and Ph.D. scholars to build a strong research culture.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ph.D./ Postdoctoral from a recognized University/ Institution.
  • A distinguished research record with significant and verifiable publications in Scopus and Web of Science-indexed journals.
  • Demonstrated experience in writing and securing research grants/projects will be a distinct advantage.

Areas of Specialisation :

  • We seek candidates with expertise in, but not limited to, the following broad areas.
  • Research across all 17 goals, including climate action, clean energy, quality education, public health, poverty, urban development and sustainable cities.
  • Interdisciplinary Studies & Humanities: History, Anthropology, Literature, Philosophy, Cultural Studies, and allied aspects of Interdisciplinary research.
  • Social Sciences: Economics, Sociology, Political Science, Psychology, Social Work and Management.
  • Basic Sciences: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biological Sciences.
  • Computer Sciences: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cybersecurity, and Computational Interdisciplinary Research. Library and information Science.
