The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit 31, Sacred Heart College, Thevara, is organising ‘Arike’, a compassionate outreach initiative aimed at spending meaningful time with senior citizens in the local community.

The programme seeks to foster care, companionship, and emotional support by encouraging volunteers to visit elderly residents in nearby areas and engage with them through conversations and shared moments. Through this initiative, NSS volunteers hope to spread warmth, kindness, and a sense of belonging among senior citizens.

“A small presence can bring great comfort.” Guided by this spirit, Arike invites students to share their time and compassion, creating meaningful connections across generations.
