On August 5, 2025, the Department of Computer Science hosted CODE-A-THON 2K25: Kickoff Coding Challenge at Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), East Campus. This event served as the academic year's opening technical contest, aimed at fostering a culture of coding excellence. The program began with essential guidelines from the faculty coordinator, Ms. Susan Jeevan Philip, followed by a motivational address to the participants from the Head of the Department, Ms. Achamma Cherian. Students then engaged in an intense, one-hour coding challenge, tackling algorithmic problems designed to test and sharpen their logical thinking and programming skills. The CODE-A-THON successfully provided a platform for students to embrace healthy competition and prepare for future technical challenges.
