The Department of Computer Science organised an interactive session titled “Beyond the Obvious: Think, Question & Discover” on 13 August 2026 at Marian Hall (Dan Thottakkara Hall). The session was led by Rev. Dr. A. K. George, with Ms. Jisha Soman and Ms. Rensi K. Ranjith serving as faculty coordinators.
The session aimed to nurture curiosity, critical thinking, innovation, and a questioning mindset among students, drawing inspiration from the life and teachings of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam.
Through personal anecdotes, real-life examples, and thought-provoking questions, Rev. Dr. George encouraged students to challenge assumptions, think beyond conventional boundaries, and approach problems with creativity and perseverance. The highly interactive session featured active student participation through discussions, reflections, and a Q&A session, with a focus on applying Kalam’s ideals to Computer Science, academic growth, and nation-building.
