The Department of Computer Science, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Thevara, has launched a dedicated UGC NET/JRF Coaching Programme for postgraduate students to support their preparation for competitive examinations and encourage careers in teaching and research.
Titled “Crack UGC NET/JRF with Expert Guidance!”, the programme commenced on 16 July 2026 and was inaugurated by Dr. Cini Kurian, Head of the Department of Computer Science. The coaching sessions are conducted two days a week after regular working hours, enabling students to participate alongside their regular academic commitments.
The programme focuses on concept-based teaching, exam-oriented preparation, interactive learning, and regular mock tests to strengthen students’ subject knowledge and examination skills.
The initiative is coordinated by Dr. Christy Jacqueline under the guidance of Dr. Cini Kurian. Through this programme, the department aims to enhance students’ competitive examination readiness and motivate them towards higher education, research, and academic careers.
