The Department of Computer Science, Sacred Heart College, Thevara, in collaboration with the Alumni Association, conducted “Share & Care,” a community outreach and donation initiative on 18 June 2026 at St. Mary’s UP School, Kumbalam.
The programme focused on supporting the school’s infrastructure and addressing the immediate needs of its students. As part of the initiative, a printer was donated to the school to support its academic and administrative activities. Umbrellas were also distributed to deserving students, helping them manage the seasonal weather conditions and continue their schooling without interruption.
Faculty members, students, and alumni actively participated in the programme and interacted with the school community, creating an atmosphere of care, encouragement, and shared responsibility.
The initiative was coordinated by Jisha Soman and Rensi K Ranjith, Faculty Coordinators. “Share & Care” reflects the Department of Computer Science and the Sacred Heart alumni community’s commitment to social responsibility, community engagement, and compassionate service beyond the classroom.
