On 23rd February, Day 02 of “Thevara” will feature Cartoon Carnival 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM at Melesius Hall with a prayer and the theme “വരകൾ വിരിയുന്നിടം.” The inaugural session will include a Welcome Address by Mr. Kishore Kumar P, Dean, Media Campus, followed by the Presidential Address by Dr. Biju C.S, Principal, Sacred Heart College, Thevara, Kochi. Mr. Babu Joseph, Director, SHSC, will introduce the Cartoon Carnival, and the event will be officially inaugurated by renowned cartoonist Unnikrishnan. Felicitations will be offered by Fr. Antony P, Deputy Director, SHSC, and the Vote of Thanks will be delivered by Ms. Shivani Sudhakar, Student Coordinator. A Cartoon Workshop for UP and HS students will be held at the Main Auditorium at 10:00 AM, along with competitions including Caricature Drawing, Sarcastic Humor Drawing, and Face Painting (Cartoon Characters), with prizes of ₹3000 for the first prize and ₹1500 for the second prize. A Miniature Exhibition will also be arranged at the Main Auditorium. Additionally, a Cartoon Workshop with AI for HSS, Degree, and PG students will take place at Marian Hall. The day will conclude with the Closing Ceremony at 2:30 PM at Melesius Hall.
