Botany (Core) with Chemistry and Zoology (Complementary) other than common languages is the curriculum structure of undergraduate program. Bachler’s degree in Botany is a door step for a student to enter the world of plants with technical details. The curriculum is designed to study the basic principles, fundamental concepts, experiments, applied aspects of various branches of Botany including diversity and life history patterns of different life forms of plants, anatomy, morphology, taxonomy, cell biology, molecular biology, biotechnology, general informatics, horticulture and nursery management, genetics, phytochemistry, etc. Other than these, regular field-based studies, study tour, lab visit, laboratory experiments and hands on training cum project are also part of the curriculum that enrich the students’ knowledge as well as skills.
