The Department of Chemistry was established in the year 1944 with the very inception of the college and it has emerged as one of the best learning centres of chemical Sciences in the state of Kerala. Currently, it offers one undergraduate programme (B.Sc. Chemistry) and two postgraduate programmes (M.Sc. Chemistry & M.Sc. Applied Chemistry - Pharmaceutical).
