The Department of Malayalam, in association with the Theatre Club of Sacred Heart College, Thevara, is set to celebrate Reading Day with a creative and cultural flair. As part of the observance, a mono-act competition titled ‘Parakayam 2K25’ will be held on Thursday, 19th June 2025, at 1:30 PM in Fr. Melesius Hall. The event will showcase powerful reimaginings of iconic characters from Malayalam literature.

Following the competition, a literary interaction (Sargasamvadam) with renowned novelist Mini P. C. will take place at the same venue. All are cordially invited to attend and be part of this enriching literary celebration.
