Description/Characteristics :

- phlogopite(commonly chloritised), in a fine-grainedgroundmass of calcite,
- second-generation olivineand phlogopite with accessory ilmenite,serpentine,
- chlorite, magnetite and perovskite.
- The name is derived from Kimberley, South Africa
