On September 10, 2024, Psyche League organized a street play to observe World Suicide Prevention Day, an international event aimed at raising global awareness about suicide prevention and mental health support.
The event emphasized practical learning outcomes: building awareness about suicide prevention strategies, using art forms like street plays to effectively spread mental health messages in community settings, and developing key skills in coordination, teamwork, communication, presentation, and leadership—ideal for psychology students practicing social interventions.
This initiative aligns with Psyche League's focus on accessible mental health education, following their August inauguration, by leveraging creative, public performances to reduce stigma and promote help-seeking behaviors in Kerala communities.
