Industrial Visit: Semester 2, MA Economics
On 21 January 2026, the Department of Economics organised an industrial visit for 1st MA students to Idukki. The group explored the Jeevan Tea Factory, observing manufacturing stages and production dynamics. Additionally, they assessed ecotourism models at Calvary Mount and Ramakkalmedu. The programme successfully bridged macroeconomic theory with practical insights into regional industry and sustainable development.
