A vibrant student community, striving to excel in their chosen areas and in various co-curricular activities. For many of them, college campus is a home away from home.

Every year we receive thousands of applications for admissions into our UG programmes and several hundreds for PG programmes. Places are offered strictly on the basis of merit and reservation as per existing rules. Our student community has members from all strata of society. Their mentors are keen in grooming and guiding them in the best possible way. Apart from high academic standards maintained by the college in imparting teaching, learning and evaluation, our students also have opportunities for extra curricular activities of various sorts, including service learning. Altogether our students have the opportunity to have an enriched holistic learning experience, which is reflected in our results and placements. In the process, they cultivate healthy friendships with fellow students and their teachers as well as the community, which last for years to come.

The college functions as a community and it is expected of each member of the community that he/she respect the rights of others as individuals and should provide space for them to grow in knowledge and attain selfhood. It is to be said that rights entail responsibilities. The following set of rules is based on the fundamental tenet that each individual has a responsibility to respect the rights of the other and is expected to conduct himself/herself with self-discipline and dignity.
