Students of Sacred Heart College who are interning with The Kochi Heritage Project have successfully designed and conducted a unique Heritage Walk focusing on the trees and statues of Subhash Park, Kochi.

The initiative showcased the students' research, storytelling, and heritage interpretation skills. Maria, a third-year BA student, led a group of 25 participants on an engaging two-hour walk through the park, sharing fascinating stories, historical insights, and ecological significance associated with its landmarks.

The Heritage Walk was the result of a collaborative effort by the student interns Maria, Sanjana, Aysha, Aparna, Nandana, Aldrin, and Gouri. Their work reflects a commendable commitment to preserving and promoting Kochi’s cultural and natural heritage while creating meaningful public engagement experiences.
