National Scholarship for Postgraduate Studies / PG Indira Gandhi Single Girl Child Scholarship 2026–2027

Fresh applications are now open.

• Only first-year PG students and fourth-year Integrated PG students are eligible to apply.
• Only students enrolled in regular courses are eligible to apply.
• Students in self-financing courses may also apply.
• Selection will be based on degree marks.
• Preference is given to single girl children.
• Students are required to apply through the concerned scheme, National Scholarship for Post Graduate Studies (Merit Based Scheme) under UGC, on the NSP portal and submit the required hard copies of the documents to the Scholarship Counter on or before 31.10.2026.
• The last date for student application on the NSP portal is 31.10.2026.

2. Joining-cum-Verification Certificate (a template is available at the end of the application)
3. OBC-NCL Certificate
4. EWS Certificate
5. Medical Board Certificate for differently-abled students (UDID is mandatory)
