Sacred Heart College, Thevara alumni are invited to participate in the AI Grand Prix, a national competition conducted by the University of San Diego (USD) for graduates and young professionals seeking to advance their careers in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity. Participants can compete for scholarships worth up to ₹20 lakh to pursue a Master’s degree at USD. In addition, every eligible student from Sacred Heart College applying to USD for Spring 2027 will be eligible for a ₹10 lakh Mission Scholarship.

The AI Grand Prix is a 45-minute online challenge featuring 26 scenario-based questions covering GenAI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and real-world AI applications. Rank 1 will receive a ₹1 lakh cash prize along with a ₹20 lakh scholarship, while the Top 5 participants will receive a ₹10 lakh scholarship each. The competition is open to graduates and young professionals, excluding current students, and the deadline to participate is 20 September 2026.

The competition also features a national institutional leaderboard, providing Sacred Heart College with an opportunity to showcase the strength of its alumni talent alongside institutions from across India. If at least 25 eligible alumni from the College complete the challenge, Sacred Heart College will qualify for institutional recognition and contribution. If the College ranks among the Top 5 institutions nationally on 21 September, USD will present ₹1 lakh as a contribution towards institutional or departmental initiatives supporting future AI talent and alumni engagement.
