Dr. Jamshi J currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the area of Business Analytics and Marketing. She holds a Ph.D. in Management from Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS). Her academic foundation integrates analytics, technology, and behavioural sciences, with an MBA in Business Analytics and Marketing from VIT University a B.Tech in Information Technology from Cochin University of Science and Technology and an M.A. in Industrial Psychology from IGNOU.
She began her professional journey within the public sector innovation and research ecosystem, serving as Innovation Fellow at the National Innovation Foundation (DST, Government of India), Senior Research Fellow at the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (Government of India), and later as Business Incubation Manager at Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (Government of Kerala). This exposure to policy-linked research, grassroots innovation systems, and incubation strategy informs her applied research orientation.
Her areas of expertise include Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Research Methodology, Digital Consumer Behaviour, Data Visualization, and Innovation Management. She integrates advanced analytical and business intelligence tools such as Python, SPSS, SmartPLS, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and Google Analytics into her pedagogy, fostering data-driven thinking and applied analytical competence among management graduates.
Her research interests encompass analytics-driven decision-making, consumer behaviour, service marketing, service quality modelling, structural equation modelling (SEM), digital platform ecosystems, survey instrument design, and the integration of emerging technologies in management education. She remains actively engaged in strengthening start-up ecosystems, innovation-led growth initiatives, and interdisciplinary academic collaborations
