Dr. Sharrel Rebello is a life sciences researcher and academic with expertise in biosciences, biotechnology, microbiology, and natural product research. She has been associated with the Mahatma Gandhi University for her PhD (2014) in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram. She has joined Sacred Heart College, Thevara, as an Associate professor (Research) in May 2026. Currently she is working on biobased scaffolds at Sacred Heart College, in collaboration with International and Inter University Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (IIUCNN), Mahatma Gandhi University. Throughout her academic career, Dr. Rebello has contributed to scientific publications and interdisciplinary research projects focused on discovering biologically active molecules and advancing understanding in microbial and biomedical sciences.
