International Office Offers Global Learning Opportunity Through UNITAR-Certified Programme

The International Office of Sacred Heart College is pleased to announce an exciting international opportunity for students through the UN-Certified International Project Programme (IPP), delivered and certified by United Nations Institute for Training and Research. The globally recognised experiential learning programme enables students to engage with real-world United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) challenges while gaining valuable international exposure.

The programme includes two weeks of live engagement on UN SDG-based projects, followed by a one-week Geneva Immersion Programme scheduled from 9–15 July 2026. Participants will have the opportunity to attend sessions at the United Nations Headquarters, Palais des Nations, and interact with diplomats, global organisations, and students from around the world. The immersion programme also features visits to internationally renowned organisations including the World Trade Organization (WTO), CERN, and the International Human Rights Council (IHRC), along with cultural experiences such as a fully covered day trip to Lyon, France.

Students who successfully complete the programme will receive an official UNITAR Certificate. Selection will be based on CV evaluation, Statement of Purpose, and interview performance.

For students unable to travel internationally, the International Office is also offering the AI Bridge Programme, an eight-week remote learning initiative that includes a UN-Certified AI for Social Impact Challenge, virtual internship opportunities, and access to a Global Virtual Expo.

The opportunity is open to UG and PG students from all campuses of Sacred Heart College. The last date to apply is 20 May 2026.
