The Directorate of General Education, Government of Kerala, in association with the Directorate of Collegiate Education, Government of Kerala, is organizing the Higher Secondary School Teacher Transformation Programme (HSSTTP)—a 10-day Refresher Course in Physics—from 15 to 24 December 2025 at Sacred Heart College, Ernakulam, under the aegis of the Department of Physics. The programme is held under the leadership of Dr. Biju C. S., Principal, Rev. Fr. Varghese Kachappilly CMI, Manager, and Dr. Jimmy Sebastian, Head of the Department and Course Coordinator, with Ms. Benazeera Beegum K. A., GHSS, serving as the HSST Coordinator from the Directorate of General Education.

The course will commence on 15 December 2025 with the Inaugural Talk on “Biophysics” by Prof. Deepak Nair, Centre for Neuroscience, IISc Bangalore, at 11:30 a.m. in Fr. Melesius Hall, SHC. This will be followed by a session on “Fundamentals of Physics” by Dr. Shaji N., Adjunct Faculty, CUSAT, at 2:30 p.m. at the same venue.
