Dept. of chemistry, Sacred Heart College in association with J J Murphy Research centre, Rubber Park is planning to provide an add on course on rubber technology for the BSc second year chemistry students. Training programmes offered at J J Murphy Research Centre focuses more on on-job training methodology. Rubber Park shows a path that helps individual to get trained and certified in appropriate skills required for the industrial jobs. At present, there is an acute shortage of technically skilled manpower in the industry and is a major challenge in the productivity and growth of the sector. The trend in the industry is to recruit the fresher for the entry level jobs and train them to operate machines for doing the basic necessities of the tasks to be performed in the factory. Provision of appropriate skills may thus be an important intervention to increase the job openings for an individual. Our aim is to create pool of skilled resources that are industry ready and up skill in-service professionals to improve the competitive edge of the industry.

  2. Hands own training on various industrially important instruments
  3. Theoretical and practical knowledge about various rubber based products development.
  4. Industrial exposure
  5. Advise on starting new rubber based products/ company 
  6. Placement assistance for trained persons.
