Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Thevara, continues its commitment to community engagement through its active participation in the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), an initiative of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. As part of the programme, students of the college carried out a Need Assessment Household Survey in Mulanthuruthy Grama Panchayat, one of the villages adopted by the institution under UBA.

The survey was undertaken to assess the socio-economic conditions, identify the developmental needs, and understand the challenges faced by the local community. The information gathered will serve as a foundation for designing and implementing need-based community development initiatives, fostering sustainable rural development while providing students with valuable field exposure and opportunities for meaningful social engagement.
