Heartian Harvest : the harvest of joy

We are very happy to harvest the paddy cultivated at the extension area of Sacred Heart College, Thevara, in Arayankavu, Amballoor Panchayat. More than a harvest, it was a beautiful experience of learning farming, understanding nature, and cherishing our agricultural traditions through real hands-on participation by students. Students cultivated Umma rice, which needs care for 130 days. With proper care we Harvested our Paddy. Heartian Harvest 2026 was covered in the Kochi City edition of Times of India on 14th May 2026.
