The Economics Association for 2026–27 of Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Thevara, was inaugurated on 17 August 2026 at Manmohan Hall. Adv. Sabu K. Varghese, former Registrar of the High Court of Kerala and the Central Administrative Tribunal, was the chief guest. Principal Dr Franklin J. presided over the function. The programme also featured the release of Oeconomia, the department newsletter. Dr Vinil K. V., Head of the Department of Economics; Dr Saritha A. K., Staff Coordinator of the Association; and the Association Secretaries, Ms Afna V. A. and Mr Aby George, addressed the gathering.
