NCC Naval Wing Cadets Shine at IGC NSC 2026

The NCC Naval Wing of Sacred Heart College, under the 7(K) Naval Unit NCC, achieved remarkable success at the Inter Group Competition (IGC) – National Selection Camp (NSC) 2026, held at the Southern Naval Command, Kochi, from 28 May to 6 June 2026.

The SH College contingent secured several individual and team honors. NCI Nikhil Kumar Pandey won gold medals in Drill, H&H, and Firing, along with an individual gold in H&H, an overall silver in Semaphore, and another silver medal in Semaphore. NCI Aaron Job Raphael earned gold medals in Boat Rigging and Drill, a silver medal in Semaphore, and an individual bronze in Semaphore overall. NC1 Muhammed Farhan F secured gold medals in Drill and H&H, along with a silver in Semaphore. NC1 Harigovind M and NCI Mathew K Joseph each won a gold medal in Drill and a silver medal in Semaphore. NC1 Sreedhara Bhat earned a gold medal in Drill, while NCI Gosreenath S Prabhu won a silver medal in Seamanship and NCI Aman Ekka secured a silver medal in Semaphore.

The college congratulates all the cadets for their outstanding achievements, which reflect their dedication, discipline, and excellence in naval training. The team was guided by Sub Lt. Dr. Didimos K. V., Associate NCC Officer, NCC Naval Wing, under the leadership of Capt. Shibu John, Commanding Officer, 7(K) Naval Unit NCC. The college community, led by Principal Dr. Franklin J, extends its heartfelt appreciation and best wishes to the cadets for their future endeavors.
