MG University Youth Festival Champions, Ashantham 2018

With a total domination over other fellow contestants, Sacred Hearts College lifts the golden trophy for the first time at MG university youth festival 2018 MG University Youth Festival Ashantham witnessed the rise of the new champions, Sacred Hearts College, as they dominated the competition from Day 2. The final day of the competition witnessed some great moments as the ex-students of Sacred Hearts College showed up at the event venues supporting their teams. Sacred Hearts College became the champions with a whopping 102 points, St. Teresa's was in the second place with 53, followed by RLV College and Maharajas College. Poornasree Haridas, a playback singer and a student of Sacred Hearts College bagged the first prize for Light Music and Classical Music and part of the Eastern Group song team which bagged the second place said, “It’s the first time I have won the first place in light music and I would like to thank my family, teachers, friends and everyone who supported me”. The event ended with the ex-students and the current students of Sacred Hearts college shouting “We are one and we are number one”.
