Kiran George Koshy is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Botany at Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Thevara. He has been serving the institution since 2016 and is actively involved in teaching, academic administration, curriculum development, student mentoring, and environmental initiatives.
An alumnus of both CMS College and Sacred Heart College, he completed his B.Sc. in Botany and Biotechnology from CMS College, Kottayam, and his M.Sc. in Botany from Sacred Heart College, Thevara.
His areas of academic expertise include Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetic Engineering, Bryology and Plant Physiology. He is particularly known for providing hands-on training in Tissue Culture and promoting experiential learning among students. As an educator and academic leader, he is committed to nurturing scientific curiosity, research aptitude, and environmental responsibility among students while contributing to the continued growth and excellence of the Department of Botany.
