Dr. Joyshree Mondal is an accomplished academician and practitioner with over 15 years of experience in social work, counselling, and developmental sector across multiple states in India. She worked with renowned International Org. like Aga Khan Foundation, CSR (Dr. Reddy’s Foundation) and Cancure Foundation. She served as the HoD and Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work, at NIMIT, Kerala. At present joined SH, social work dept. as Asst. Professor. Her academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Social Work, M.Phil. in Health Care Social Work, MSW with HRD/HRM specialization, and a PG Diploma in Guidance and Counselling. Dr. Joyshree has worked extensively with Rural/Urban Community, migrant workers, children, and cancer patients, and has led numerous field-based interventions and research studies. She has presented papers at national and international forums and published in peer-reviewed journals. Her key interests include community development, mental health, and social research. She is also a trained classical singer and artist, with a strong passion for integrating art and empathy into social work education and practice.
