Ms. D. Sarada Devi joined the institution as an Assistant Professor in the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies. She completed her Master’s in Applied Economics from CUSAT with first position, following which she earned her M.Phil. in Economics from the University of Kerala. With expertise spanning Forest Economics, Behavioural Economics, Climate Change, Vulnerability & Poverty Studies, her research sits at the critical intersection of ecological sustainability and economic well-being. Currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Economics, she brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective to her teaching and research. Prior to joining the institute, she gained valuable experience through a year of teaching. With over six years of research experience, she continues to make her mark through academic publications, conference presentations, and a deep commitment to mentoring students in her subject area.
