The National Service Scheme (NSS), in association with the Department of Aquaculture, will organize a World Ocean Day Quiz on 8 June 2025 at Marian Hall from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM. The programme will be conducted under the theme “Protect Our Oceans, Preserve Our Future”, emphasizing the importance of conserving marine ecosystems and promoting sustainable practices for the wellbeing of future generations.

The quiz will provide participants with an opportunity to enhance their knowledge of ocean conservation, marine biodiversity, environmental challenges, and the role individuals can play in protecting the world's oceans. Students will be encouraged to learn, participate, and engage in meaningful discussions on marine environmental issues.

A cash prize of ₹500 will be awarded to the winner. Through this initiative, the organizers will seek to foster environmental responsibility among students and inspire collective action towards preserving the health and sustainability of our oceans.
