The Department of Computer Science, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Thevara, cordially invites students, faculty, researchers, and technology enthusiasts to an expert lecture on "The Need for Responsible AI in Industry 5.0" on 27 July 2026, from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM, at Fr. Berchmans Hall, East Campus.

The session will be led by Prof. Dr. Emerson Raja Joseph, Centre of Advanced Analytics, Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Multimedia University, Melaka, Malaysia. Drawing on his expertise in Artificial Intelligence and advanced analytics, he will discuss the significance of developing and deploying AI responsibly in the context of Industry 5.0, where technology is increasingly designed to complement human capabilities while promoting ethical, sustainable, and inclusive innovation.
