SWASTI Organises Breast Cancer Screening Camp at Sacred Heart College

The Women’s Cell of Sacred Heart College, Thevara – SWASTI, in association with Rajagiri Cancer Centre, Rajagiri Hospital, and Rajagiri Karunya Trust, organised a Breast Cancer Screening Drive on the college campus on 3 September 2026.

As part of the initiative, a Mobile Mammogram Camp was arranged to promote awareness and encourage early detection of breast cancer among the Heartian community. The screening facility included digital mammography for women aged 40 years and above and breast ultrasound for those below 40 years.

A total of 20 registered participants were screened during the camp. The initiative highlighted the importance of regular breast health screening and early detection in ensuring timely treatment and better health outcomes.

SWASTI continues to promote preventive healthcare and well-being among the Sacred Heart community through such awareness and screening initiatives.
