The Heartian Music Club, in association with String Heads Music, organized a Career Orientation Programme on “Career Opportunities in Music Education” on 13 August 2026 at Melesius Hall. The programme was attended by more than 38 participants.

The session was led by Mr. Renoy Sivanandan, CEO of String Heads Music, and Mrs. Teresa George, alumna of Sacred Heart College and Music Educator at String Heads Music India. The programme was preceded by a round-table discussion with the Nodal Officer and Music Club Coordinator and commenced with a welcome address by Angel Maria Shajan, Secretary of the Music Club.

The orientation provided students with valuable insights into diverse career opportunities in music education, along with the skills, qualifications, and certifications required to pursue careers in the field. The interactive session encouraged active participation from the audience, with students showing keen interest in exploring professional opportunities in music education.

The programme concluded on a positive and inspiring note, motivating students to consider music education as a promising career pathway. The session also contributed to creating greater awareness of the growing relevance and opportunities in music education in today’s world.
