The Placement Cell of Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Thevara, inaugurated its activities for the academic year 2026–27 on Tuesday, 21 July 2026, at Fr. Berchmans Hall, East Campus, marking the beginning of another year dedicated to career development, industry engagement, and professional excellence. The occasion also witnessed the induction of the Student Placement Team, reinforcing the institution's commitment to equipping students with the skills, guidance, and opportunities required to excel in today's competitive job market.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by Smt. Priyanka G, IAS, District Collector, Ernakulam, who served as the Chief Guest and addressed the gathering with valuable insights on leadership, public service, and career preparedness. Faculty members, students, and the newly inducted placement team participated in the programme, which set the stage for a series of training sessions, placement drives, internships, and industry interactions planned for the academic year.
